This protein packed spiced coffee fits the bill. The beauty of this coffee smoothie is you can enjoy it either hot or cold. Isn’t that great? Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup hot brewed coffee (preferably fair trade and organic)
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk (full fat is best )
  • 1 scoop protein powder (your favorite is best (non-soy based))
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground vanilla bean or vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp stevia (optional)
  • 45 ice cubes ((for cold version))

Instructions

For Hot Version

  1. Add all ingredients except the ice to the pitcher of your blender, Cover and puree on high for two minutes until frothy and well mixed. Pour into a heatproof mug and enjoy.
    Garnish with a cinnamon stick if you like.

For Cold Version

  1. Add all ingredients including the ice to the pitcher of your blender, Cover and puree on high for two minutes until frothy and well mixed. Pour into a glass. Add a few more ice cubes if you like.
